This chestnut honey imported from France is a robust, spicy, woody honey, which may even have a slight bitterness at the end of the mouth. The smell is distinct, warm and deep as soon as the pot is opened, from which a pronounced pungent scent is released, both strong and sweet.
Texture: It is one of the few honeys that keep a liquid texture for a long time. Due to its fructose content, chestnut honey does not crystallize or slowly.
